This role will offer full HR support in various Human Resources functions, including but not limited to Recruiting, HRIS, Payroll, and Benefits.
The primary focus of this position will be to support the corporate and retail population.
However, full HR support to other divisions will also be provided through this position as necessary.
Responsibilities for Internal Candidates Responsible for the entire HR document retention process Coordinates the HR Operations team meetings, including logistics, agenda, and meeting recaps.
Supports HR Business Partners with records maintenance (written counseling documents or leave documentation).
Collaborates with HR Business Partners on follow-up of pending tasks, including but not limited to manager changes, promotions, internal transfers, or any other changes etc.
Generates audit reports to review data integrity and corrects and maintains employee files.
Track reported system issues and work with the HRIS team or vendor to have them corrected.
Responsible for supporting recruiting in the onboarding efforts, assisting the team with New Hire Orientation, verifying I9s, and processing new hires in all systems.
Responsible for processing terminations, including but not limited to disabling system access, and preparing separation packages.
Informs the Payroll and Benefits team as necessary in administrative tasks such as employee relocations, status/accrual changes, etc.
Any other task or project assigned by management.
Qualifications for Internal Candidates The ideal candidate will possess 2 or more years' experience in HR whether through education or workplace experience.
The passion for learning and taking on new responsibilities and tasks is essential to this role.
2 years
of experience as an HR Specialist or related education Bilingual in English/Spanish highly preferred Proven track record of maintaining employee confidentiality Strong organizational skills and superior attention to detail Good problem solving abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient MS Office suite proficiency, specifically Excel and PowerPoint Knowledge of labor and employment laws a plus
