Director of Patient Care Services / Administrator (Home Health) Requirements:
Experience as a Director of Nursing in California OR Experience as an Assistant Director of Nursing OR Experience as a Clinical Nursing Supervisor / Manager Knowledge of federal and CA state regulations Key responsibilities :
Oversee and manage all aspects of care services within the organization Oversee and manage the organization's patient clinical records, statistics, and reports Develop and implement care policies and procedures to ensure high-quality and efficient care delivery Provide leadership and guidance to the care team, including nurses and other healthcare professionals Monitor and evaluate the organization and care team's performance through quarterly and annual reviews Assures the quality and safe delivery of home health services provided through the organization Ensure that the nursing staff receives sufficient in-service education, training, and development Collaborate with other departments to ensure coordinated and integrated care for patients Assures compliance with all local, state, and federal laws including HIPAA and the Joint Commission Home Care standards.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in care management Promotes home health referrals in the health care communities.
Manages the maintenance of appropriate inventory supplies and equipment for the provision of patient services.
Other duties as assigned by the governing board / owner
Qualifications:
Valid California RN license Three years of management experience within the last ten years in a home health, hospice, skilled nursing facility or related healthcare organization Must have previous experience in a leadership role within a healthcare setting preferably as Nursing Director, Assistant Nursing Director, Nursing Supervisor, Nursing Manager.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, critical care, case management, and healthcare systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines Proficient in using electronic medical records systems Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured Job Type:
