Sr Software Architect
About the Position
Working at the corporate office, the Sr Software Architect will be responsible for defining the direction of the company's new service-oriented architecture and APIs that will be accessed in a highly available environment by its largest clients. Ria already processes millions of transactions a month and is increasing daily as Ria is experiencing tremendous growth and establishing relationships with some of the largest retailers both domestically and overseas.
Our team has already implemented new technologies to help us achieve these goals including our new TFS 2012 implementation, AppFabric and more. This role will also have the opportunity to develop with new languages / frameworks including Web API, MVC and more.
Key Responsibilities Include:
oArchitect new solutions for exposing transactional data efficiently and securely using Microsoft technologies.
oReview existing architecture and provide recommendations for supporting new functionality while scaling out to ensure high throughput and performance with low latency.
oProvide direction to developers for implementing architectural changes in an agile software development lifecycle.
oCollaborate with data architect and senior technology managers to explore new architectural solutions for future implementations including cloud-based infrastructure, continuous delivery, Enterprise Service Bus and more.
oStay current with the digital payments / e-commerce landscape.
Key Requirements Include:
oA bachelor's degree in Computer Science or closely related field from an accredited university; Masters preferred
o8
years of overall software architecture and development experience with 3
years' experience in high transaction volume environment
oCandidates must have proven .NET experience (C#) and expert understanding of Object Oriented Design and Programming
oHands-on experience developing SOAP and RESTful services implementing authorization and authentication procedures
oAbility to communicate directly with peers, managers and clients while leading development to a completed and successful solution
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
