The Product Specialist is our ultimate product expert. This person maintains, organizes and manages the product lines distributed through our Ecommerce websites and applications in order to maximize revenue. The product specialist also uses his/her musical skills and knowledge of music technology to help create exciting marketing materials for our products.
The product specialist will meet marketing, financial, and corporate growth objectives by performing the following duties:
Essential job functions:
Manage and maintain the collection of over 60,000 products sold on our websites and other distribution channels. This includes MIDI files, audio tracks, sound libraries, printable sheet music, and more.
Manage the upload and import process of new products into all of our related stores. This includes working with our 3rd party suppliers from around the world and overseeing the delivery of their products into our proprietary system.
Create compelling marketing descriptions for new products as needed. Assist Marketing Manager with brainstorming new products and improvements to existing products.
Research and find potential 3rd party content providers, and maintain relationships with them
Suggest existing products to be bundled or discounted based on customer demand and/or potential markets.
Create bundled products from existing inventory of midi songs, style files, printable sheet music, audio tracks, and other product lines.
Update and maintain website daily to optimize product sales using CMS tools.
Support the marketing manager by designing and implementing effective promotional and communication tools for assigned products. These include creating short marketing videos/audio samples for our website that demonstrate our products in an entertaining fashion.
Develop support material for assigned products including product descriptions and marketing campaign copy
Keep up-to-date with scheduled releases and promotions accordingly.
Create and plan website updates based on new content releases, holidays, special events, etc.
Light trade show duties.
Other duties may be assigned.
Minimum two years of experience and/or training in the keyboard and music industry. A thorough knowledge of the market is required.
1-2 years retail experience in the music industry with focus on keyboards.
Extensive product knowledge of keyboards and other digital products including, but not limited to, functionality, specifications, and musical applications.
An understanding of competitor products and the proper sales position for the models.
Must have a working knowledge and experience using MIDI files, sounds libraries, keyboards, and computer music applications.
Knowledge of Excel and MS Office Word Processing software
E-Commerce product experience
Experience working in a corporate marketing capacity
Working knowledge of photo editing design software
Social Media experience

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
